Meet our team
I started in Iceland in 1987 as an electrician, primarily working with house installations, machine control, and large HVAC systems.
In 2001, I moved to Sweden and continued my work there for two years. Later, in 2003, I moved to Denmark, and in 2005, I began working with automation and HMI programming. Since then, I have been developing customized solutions for the industrial and agricultural sectors.
Additionally, I worked for two years as a service technician for Kawasaki robots, where I gained highly valuable knowledge in robotic solutions.
I have been working with electrical installations since 1994 in various companies and positions, ranging from installation and home automation to network technologies, administration, and project management. Over the last decade, I have focused more on automation and control, and for the past three years, I have specialised in PLC/SCADA programming and system integration at MCK Automatik.
My goal has always been to provide our customers with the best experience and the most effective solutions, whether it is a small error-handling or adjustment task or a complete system solution.
Since February 2021, I have been part of the MCK team after completing my automation technician education in a Siemens/Rockwell environment. My expertise in Siemens and Rockwell complements the knowledge of Omron at MCK Automatik.
My strength, in addition to my technical knowledge, is my analytical approach to tasks, as well as my willingness to find an alternative solution to complete the task in the most optimal way.
In February 2025, I became part of the team at MCK Automatik. I completed my apprenticeship in February 2022 and have a strong background as a maintenance electrician, with experience in ensuring the operation and maintenance of technical machinery. Through my work, I have developed a deep understanding of electrical installations and technical troubleshooting.
In the future, my focus will be on PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming, and I look forward to combining my practical experience with my growing expertise in programming and system integration.
Throughout my working life, I have taken the lead and been responsible for maintaining a strong work ethic, ensuring workplace safety, and upholding high standards of quality and efficiency. In 2022, I followed my dream and began training as an automation technician. Since January 2023, I have been an adult apprentice at MCK Automatik.
At MCK Automatik, I have the opportunity to specialise in PLC programming and advanced control techniques.
